I'm back!
We've moved. As of this past weekend we no longer live in the ghetto. No more raccoon sex in the attic, no more Harley Davidson bands who can't get real gigs, no more loud neighbors threatening us with grievous bodily injury when we tell them to shut it at 5:30 on Sunday mornings.
It's all very exciting.
We now have a larger apartment in an older, quiet apartment building. There are lots of little old people here which thrills our souls since we are really 60 year olds hidden inside 20-something bodies. We're almost unpacked and today I began hanging artwork. Instead of one bed/one bath we now have a two bed/two bath which means we have an office. We bought our first furniture (everything we had until now was given to us at the time of the wedding) and IKEA owes us a debt of gratitude. I can't wait to get everything finished and decorated. It's all very exciting.
Keith is in ALS or Airman Leadership School, a very intense five week military management course that he has to complete in order to sew on his next rank which he'll be putting on in May. We're both going strong in regular college but thoroughly enjoying Spring Break.
How are you?
